machtWORTE! is a picture book for children that questions the normalities of our everyday language in a funny and original way. From A to Z, the book invites you to philosophize about the world and ask yourself: What does the clock actually do on vacation and how does half order fit into life?
In the book, words and images are combined to match each letter of the alphabet, allowing familiar chains of associations to be broken and entirely new ideas and ways of thinking to be developed.
In this way, it becomes possible to rethink one’s own use of language and thus also to recognize and undermine discriminatory or exclusionary patterns. Cf. book description of the publisher
